"Wavecrest Scuba is a small friendly business with only a few staff. Mark Raynor is the owner/head instructor, based out of Monkey Tree Holiday Park, on the edge of Newquay. His small shop is well equipped with any extra diving kit that you may want to purchase whilst there. Mark and his staff helped every member of the group in their own way through out the exercise, guiding and instructing with skills and drills and even lending the group kit out of their own equipment at no extra cost. It was a first for Wavecrest Scuba to have such a big group, however, the staff were on hand every day to help out where needed. The instruction was excellent and it is a company that I would highly recommend for future expeditions."

"What an amazing holiday. The weather was unbelievable for the dates I was down at Perranporth from 2-9 July 2011. I had such a fantastic time diving in Cornwall. It was far better than I ever imagined. I have dived around the world in warm water and was reluctant to take the plunge but am so very pleased I did. There was an abundance of wildlife and the visibility was better than anticipated. Wavecrest is a friendly professional dive company that I will recommend to everyone! The dives sites were perfect and the group so very friendly. There was no feeling of being rushed so I had plenty of time to take in the surroundings and have an ice cream or two. I had a fun day with mark, he provide me with all the equipment and pick up from my camp site, took me to the dive site, then dropped me back again. "Went on a Discovery Scuba which was arranged for my Birthday and Mark made me feel extremely safe and relaxed about the dive. Went on to do my Open Water with one of the Instructors AJ and again the atmosphere and instruction was top class. The level and quality of service with Mark and his gang is 11/10 and having transport provided made all my dives more enjoyable. "Great time - thanks! I did the open water part of my PADI Open Water course with Mark (having done a referral course in London). He was a very thorough and patient instructor - and good fun! It was great to put my skills into practise with my first couple of qualified dives too. For a non-driver it was great to be picked up and returned to my hotel. I can't wait to come back!" "A great learning experience I came to Wavecrest after completing my Advanced OW and explained to Mark that I was having trouble with my bouyancy skills. After the initial dive, He instructed me on what I was doing and where it was going wrong. The second dive was more relaxed and my bouyancy has increased loads. Mark is an excellent teacher/trainer, lots of patience for learners, picks you up from where you are staying in an around the Newquay area, kits you fully out with all the correct equipment you will need, gives you the time of your life then drops you off back at home, and he even calls you the next day. "Cannot praise Mark enough. I had a taster session at the camp site and then arranged for a sea dive that same week. I was collected from the camp site, taken to the location after passing the basic tests in a pool and then had 2 memorable dives in excess of 40 minutes each before being dropped off at my campsite. The whole experience has resulted in my joining a local club to comple the PADI course. If you have ever fancied trying Scuba diving, give Mark a call. You will be in good hands" (Bview review)

"Great Diving Went for a dive with my partner Kerrie the other day and had a fantastic time with Wavecrests owner Mark. Mark really knows his stuff and knowledge of the local area really shone through when taking us through our dive. We had only ever dived in Thailand before so the conditions were a bit different to what we learnt in, but Mark was really patient and was a good laugh which put us at ease. He picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off at the end of the dive, gave us all the equipment we needed and took us round the dive site all for £20 each!! That in my opinion is really cheap. We will be going down and doing our advanced with him in the near future and will be joining his dive club and hopefully go away on a few eekend trips with him. Super Dive!!!" (Google reviews)

"A Brilliant Service.
Hi to all you divers out there. If you are looking for a good quality personal service then this is the place to come. I was collected from my hotel in newquay and return back there after my diving session. Mark gave me many option on where we could dive, giving advice on best for vis and undersea life, so we ended up in falmouth at no extra cost travelling to the south coast. The diving was fantastic and Mark supplied quality gear for me to hire, eg 7mm semi dry wetsuit. Coffee was on hand from a beachside coffe shop which gave us time to talk and warm up while waiting for a second dive. Anyone looking to dive, sould contact Mark for a friendly and enjoyable day."
